Dmitry Badiarov made a name for himself as a core member of
La Petite Bande and as the creator of instruments for world-class musicians such as
Sigiswald Kuijken,
Sergey Malov, and
Ryo Terakado.
After becoming redundant, he discovered his passion for marketing and self-promotion in 2006. This took him on stages such as Tokyo Opera City and got him featured in Tokyo MX TV and Nikkei News among others.
In 2019 he created Professional A.R.T.I.S.T. Pathway™ program that teaches musicians how to be more successful, and he created his Authentic Instrument Makers Academy™ where he teaches instrument makers old masters' acoustics, Social Media marketing, pricing and sales online and LIVE in Spain, Mexico, Japan, and Portugal.
He has been invited to speak on stage alongside experts on Social Media Marketing such as Paul O'Mahony, Marcin Marczak, and Chris Rowell in London, as well as he's been a guest on many popular business podcasts.
In 2019 he became a multiple award-winning speaker on the stage of Andy Harrington's Professional Speakers Academy.
The book On Fine Violin Making shows his journey from being nobody nowhere, to standing out in an overly competitive industry and helping other instrument makers to do the same.
